International Volunteering of Solidarity (VSI)

A volunteering programme which allows you to work with approved associations. There is no nationality requirement or age limit. The missions take place outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

International Volunteering (VIE/VIA)

The International Voluntary Service allows young French people aged between 18 and 28, to start their career abroad doing a volunteering abroad in a company or French government agency.

Volunteering in Germany with FGYO

The Franco-German Voluntary Service (VFA) is part of the French Service Civique programme and some voluntary services are also part of the German IJFD (Internationaler Jugendfreiwilligendienst) programme. It allows young French people aged 18 to 25 to volunteer in schools, higher education institutions, ecological, sportive or cultural organisations, and local authorities or associations in Germany.

International Civic Service

Allows young people from 16 to 25 to volunteer in Africa, Asia or America, depending on offers available in mission database. Volunteers commit to projects which may cover culture, leisure, international development, humanitarian actions, and much more. Missions may last from 6 months to 1 year. No specific skills are required.

Franco-German Environmental Volunteering (VEFA)

This Franco-German programme offers 18-25 year old an opportunity to volunteer for 12 months with an organisation which is active in the field of nature and environmental protection, as well as sustainable development. No specific skills are required. You just have to be motivated, curious, enthusiastic and open-minded.

European Solidarity Corps

A volunteering programme which allows young people from 18 to 30 to take part in a volunteering mission abroad (mainly in a European country).

France Volontaires

France Volontaires is the French platform for International Exchange and Solidarity Volunteers. Operated by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, it brings together the State, local authorities and associations around a mission of general interest: the development and promotion of voluntary and solidarity commitments abroad.

Cotravaux

Gathers organisations that organise Youth camps abroad. Youth camps are an opportunity for young people from different countries to meet and share while committing together to renovate heritage, to protect the environment or to support local communities.

The Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO)

The Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO) promotes and organises all kinds of exchanges (volunteering, trainings, etc.) between young people in France and Germany.
