A year abroad as a volunteer, learning a language and the chance to serve? A year to get to know yourself better, your own limits, different cultures and our caring God. You'll also get some pocket money, travel and experience every day on how you can help others. Get involved in the Volunteer Year of Deaconry! The Volunteer Deaconess Year (VYD) Programme Office started in 1997 by inviting young people aged 18-30 to volunteer for service at home or abroad.
