New Be Europe episode: let’s travel to Latvia!

What is Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters? How much do you know about sustainability? What does it mean to be European for the Latvians? Discover all of it and more in the third episode of the Be Europe podcast.

"I want to assure everyone who is not confident of their English that there are ways, there are ways to talk, and I think also those projects (youth exchanges) have helped me learn English and actually communicate with each other".

These were the words of Brigita Medne encouraging young people to participate in youth exchanges, without fear even if they are not sure of their level of English. Brigita was the third guest of the Be Europe podcast on 4 April, this time representing Latvia, and she shared with us her amazing experiences.

Brigita is currently on an Erasmus Mundus joint master's programme: studying Adult Education for Social Change and spending each semester at a different university! 
But it is not the first time that Brigita participates in youth programmes in a country other than her own. She has participated in a lot of projects on different topics such as environment, youth in NEET situation, facilitation skills, green tourism, NGO strengthening and others. These projects, these youth exchanges have allowed her to be in more than 10 different countries!

In the show she has told us her story. She explained in detail what the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters is and how it works. Moreover, as a person who is enthusiastic about sustainability, she gave us her opinion on the subject, and shared with us her experience in a youth exchange focused on this topic.
