Public Participation & Deliberative Democracy Festival – Get Involved!

Are you interested in organising a session at this year’s Public Participation and Deliberative Democracy Festival (20 & 21 October 2022)? The Festival is run by the European Commission’s Competence Centre on Participatory & Deliberative Democracy.

To coincide with the 2022 European Year of Youth, this year’s Public Participation and Deliberative Democracy Festival theme is "Youth Participation" and so we welcome submissions from young people on the topics of youth concerns and interests especially around the reflection of how young people can be better and more engaged in policy and research processes.

We are looking for session ideas that are dynamic, interactive, informative and engaging on the subject of youth and participatory & deliberative democracy. If your submission is selected, you will be responsible for organising the session, with support from the Festival team. Sessions can be organised either in-person in Brussels (Belgium) or Ispra (Italy) as well as online.

The deadline for submissions is 15 May 2022.
