A successful Green Track journey!

Síðast uppfært Þriðjudagur, 28/06/2022

The Green Track campaign mobilized thousands of young Europeans to protect nature ahead of the COP15 Biodiversity Conference. Join in!

The Green Track youth engagement campaign on nature and biodiversity – the main green flagship initiative under European Year of Youth - has recently been successfully concluded. Based on the Year’s principles of co-creation, diversity and inclusiveness, the campaign was centred around 32 events organised across the EU by young people, for young people. It provided a platform for youth to contribute to the debate on how to put nature on a path to recovery, ahead of COP 15 – the major UN Biodiversity Conference scheduled for December this year.

In a video released this week, young people from all corners of the EU are urging decision-makers meeting at COP 15 to take action to protect nature. Although the campaign is over, this is just the beginning of the journey: members of the Green Track community are determined to continue their efforts to protect biodiversity, and to engage in other initiatives of the Year.

If you would like to amplify the Green Track participants’ call to leaders ahead of COP15, don’t hesitate to share the video on your social media, by reposting one of our posts:  Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn.
