The project IT's for U it's cooperation between Italian and Ukrainian organizations. Italian volunteer will work on social entrepreneurship initiatives for the organization and the local community, thus both helping the organization to develop and learning entrepreneurship and active European citizenship on the way. We expect volunteer to achieve large scale, systemic and sustainable social change through a new invention, a different approach, a more rigorous application of known technologies or strategies, or a combination of these. PROJECT OBJECTIVES: 1.Provide volunteer with opportunities to try ourselves as entrepreneur, develop the sense of initiative, confidence of his/her powers; provide learning space for new knowledge and skills which will help them with future business initiatives back home; 2.Provide Ukrainian youth with information on EU policy and the EU integration process; encourage intercultural learning; 3.Promote social support and inclusion among youth.
Alloggio, vitto e trasporto
The volunteer will live in one flat (with separated rooms, common kitchen and bathroom) with other Polish volunteers in city center. The organization will not provide the cleaning or diary staff. Main local transport in Kremenchuk is marshrutka (small bus). In case of necessary using local transport HO will cover travel expenses in the city in the presence of tickets. HO covers these expenses only if they connected with work of EVS-volunteer (10 EUR per month). Volunteer will receive 100 EUR per month for food.
Formazione durante l'attività
Volunteer will attend On-arrival and Mid-term trainings organized by SALTO. Language support for volunteer will be arranged by the hosting organization. Volunteer can choose Russian or Ukrainian language s/he wants to learn. Language classes will be provided by teacher from Kremenchuk National University 2 times per week. According to need to work with Photoshop or other PC-soft for designing posters/leaflets HO ready to provide learning sessions for volunteer(s).
Profilo del partecipante
Only 18+. We do not have special demands to the applicants, but pay attention to their motivation, communication abilities and interest in the topic of our project. Preferably the applicants should have some experience of their own involvement in social initiatives and should be ready to spread European initiatives and values, support the idea of European integration and international cooperation, to share their culture and language and be interested in developing Ukrainian culture. It would be great if volunteers will have basic skills of Adobe Photoshop. Or ready to get this skills :)
