Opis
The project takes place in beautiful town Banská Stiavnica in UNESCO heritage list. Most of the activities are connected with reconstruction of calvary church complex, the dominant of the city. The EVS volunteers are basicly working either as guides in small exhibition in one of the churches or helping with various tasks connected with maintanace of the area. The volunteers are also part of seasonal workcamps during which they help with managment of short-term group of volunteers. In summer we are also running scout campsite in mountains where EVS volunteers are working around maintanance of the site - building wooden halls, kitchens, cutting and raking of grass and various other works. Volunteers have also space to realize their own personal project. Beside that, we are also involved in activities connected mainly with tourism in the town - we organise small community events, cooperate with local kindergarden ect, More details on http://www.kalvaria.org/europska-dobrovolnicka-sluzba/
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
The volunteers lives in 3 flat house - from 2 to max. 4 people at one time. The flat is located directly in the historical centre of the town. Distance to the Calvary is 20 min walking or in some cases we use our company car. Local bus transport is available as well. The volunteers can use also bike for transport and sport activities. Monthly pocket money is 260 € per month.

Profil sudionika
Willing to learn new things, tollerant to different personalities, not afraid of manual work, flexible, able to communicate in english, slovak, german or russian on basic level. Age 18-30.
