The main aim of Punt Jove is informing and helping young people so that they can choose the best options for their present and their future. It is meant to create equal opportunities. Every year there are more youngsters that use its services: this made the program grow. The teamwork from Youth Department is consists of two workers and temporarily there is some other staff working on youth programs. Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
-Living in a house in the countryside and sharing a room (4-6 persons per room) -Common spaces (dining room, kitchen, bathroom, open areas) have to be shared. -Pocket money: will receive pocket money each month: 5 euros per day. -Food: the volunteer will be cooking in groups, the food will be supplied by the coordinating organization + a basket of ecological and seasonal vegetables Transport: if necessary, the volunteer will be offered a second-hand bike. Wat leer je?
- The first week the volunteers will have a "welcome week" - On arrival and mid-term training provided by the Spanish National Agency - Cultural presentation during the first months of volunteering. - Catalan language course - Activities of knowledge of the territory - Workshops on ecological agriculture and sustainable cooking - Complementary training and activities during the project will be organized.
Wie zoeken we?
• We require an active volunteer, dynamic, with good communication skills, empathetic, assertive and open to know people from different cultures and someone who does not get frustrated rapidly. • The main requirement is that you are motivated to learn and to take initiative. • We value positively the interest and expertise in leisure, education, culture and social work with youth and children. • We require a basic level of Spanish language in order to integrate quickly and understand what to do.
