Day Care centre Vinger offers services for people with intellectual and learning disabilities. In the centre clients learn basic things like cooking, cleaning, etc. Volunteer will be assisting clients with their daily activities and is welcome to initiate her/his own workshops and can also initiate his/her own workshops. It's like a local community that keeps together with a family-lie feeling Service will last from September 2025 until August 2026 (12 months). Dates and duration are flexible. Day Care Centre Vinger is in small and beautiful Viljandi city, South of Estonia. Service will last from September 2025 until June 2026 (10 months). Dates and duration are flexible. Alloggio, vitto e trasporto
Volunteers will stay at the university dorm or shared apartment with other volunteers. There is also possibility to change the accommodation if the dorm solution is not suitable for some reason. Volunteers will receive monthly food and pocket money. All work related transport will be covered by the programme.
Formazione durante l'attività
Volunteers will receive work related trainings if it is necessary. All special techniques used with the target group will also be taught to the volunteers if they are interested in learning. Erasmus+ and ESC Agency in Estonia will organize on-arrival and mid-term trainings for volunteers.
Profilo del partecipante
Volunteer should be motivated to work with people with disabilities. It would be good if she/he has previous experiences in the field but it is not determining facto in the application process. Volunteer should have sense of self initiative and be proactive. Basic English is required.
