After successfully caring out our previous project "Volunteering Goes Europe" (and "Volunteering Goes Thuringia", as part of it), CGE Erfurt e.V. is envisioning more youngsters coming to Erfurt to use their potential to the fullest, to develop new skills and acquire new competences, and, of course, as the result, to create more inclusive and prosperous European community together within the "Volunteering Goes Europe 2: The Journey Continues". We are looking for 2 EVS volunteers, one from Czech Republic and one from Portugal, between 18 and 30 years old, who can stay from 01.07.2017 until 30.06.2018 in Erfurt (Thuringia, Germany). The application deadline is 15.06.2017.

Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

The EVS voluntary service covers: • Your travel expenses from where you live to Erfurt and back (return ticket); • Comprehensive insurance (health, accident and liability insurance); • Pocket money in the amount of 110 euros per month; • Food allowance 229 euros per month; • Participation in on-arrival and mid-term meetings.

Wat leer je?

During the EVS you will get: • Insight into all areas of NGO work, access to wide partner network; • Professional guidance of your activities, welcoming trainings/events and a friendly support from team; • 6-7 working hours per day, work-free weekend + 2 extra days off per month (could be used in a current month or accumulated for a longer vacation/traveling around Germany etc.); • Creative and highly professional team with a great sense of humor and international background (coming from Germany, Indonesia, Philippines, Ukraine and Uzbekistan).

Wie zoeken we?

We are looking for applicants with: • Proven interest in the NGO work and non-formal education approach of civic education; • Commitment and experience in international, inter-cultural or European youth work; • Interest in working in teams on the projects about active citizenship, employability, media literacy, sustainable development etc.; • Good digital competences (computer and design skills) and soft skills (critical thinking, communication, strategic planning); • Upper-intermediate or Advance (B2-C2) English and Intermediate or Upper-intermediate (B1-B2) German language skills.
