Arabkir Joint Medical Center – Institute of Child and Adolescent Health (Arabkir JMC) is the largest pediatric structure in Armenia, which realizes large-scale medical activities. We provide medical services, including prevention, diagnostics and treatment of different child diseases, follow-up services for children with chronic urological and surgical, gastroenterological problems as well as with bronchial asthma, epilepsy, diabetes and hematology, nephrology, endocrinology-related diseases, psycho-social and rehabilitation services. • We also provide services for emergency cases and a number of services for adults. As a multidisciplinary medical structure, Arabkir JMC provides medical assistance and care to thousands of children every year. Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
During their voluntary service the volunteer will live in a hostel with other volunteers, probably sharing the room with a fellow volunteer. All facilities will be provided, he/she will be provided with a bed, sheets and linen. The volunteer will receive monthly payments for personal expenses.
Wat leer je?
Support and training will be provided by the staff of the organization. Specialists and the staff will help the volunteer to integrate to the work and the activities organized by the project, gain more knowledge of the field and improve competences related to it. To give them linguistically tools, the volunteer will have two Armenian lessons per week during their whole service with an experienced tutor of Armenian as foreign language.
Wie zoeken we?
The volunteer should be active, communicative and creative for working with coordinators and also responsible person. S/he should have English writing and communicating skills.
