The activities provided at the primary school are carried out by the organization on behalf of the municipality of Bad Essen and include full-day care, which covers lunch for the children with supervised breaks, homework support in mixed-age groups, and after-school club (AG) offerings. Additionally, in the school social work sector, various other offerings are available, such as social learning, individual support, projects like parent cafés, and transition management. Also supports the pedagogical staff with administrative tasks, office work, preparation of after-school club offerings, and running errands. In the field of school social work, they will gain insights into topics such as socio-pedagogical small group work, individual support (parent and student counseling), parent cafés and courses, transition management (e.g., bridge years, first-grade weekends, orientation days), and network work.

We prioritize the well-being of our volunteers and offer comprehensive support and guidance before, during, and after the project. Ensuring you feel comfortable and valued is important to us, which is why we have made a well-structured support system. Comfortable working hours make the daily routine more relaxed. The short distance between the flat and the workplace is a clear advantage. The meal money can be paid in cash or via EC card. Transportation costs will be reimbursed upon submission of proof of purchase. The flight ticket for both arrival and departure will be fully covered by us.

To further enhance the experience, we also offer opportunities for personal and professional development, including workshops, skill-building sessions, and guidance on navigating the local culture and administrative systems. Volunteers can participate in networking events to connect with local organizations and other volunteers, fostering collaboration and exchange. Additionally, we provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure that volunteers not only succeed in their roles but also gain valuable insights and skills for their future endeavors.
