The work of the esta e.V., a Christian youth association, is related to Germany’s most easterly town, Görlitz, with 60.000 inhabitants. The geographical location is characterized by the triangle of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. The focus of the work of the association: - developing programs and services that empower young people and their communities to take increased responsibilities - organizing programs that work towards encouraging young people to develop their skills and abilities - Support children and youth to spend their leisure time with creative sportive programs The tasks of the volunteer are: - project work in cooperation with schools in Görlitz (Secondary School, Primary School) - weekly Christian child – and youth groups (including games, sports activities, stories from the bible and devotions, singing songs) - involvement in open children and youth work.

Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset

The volunteer will live together with German and other EVS volunteers in a shared flat in Görlitz with other volunteers. For food, the volunteers get 9,07€ per day. Through short distances in the city, the volunteers will get a bicycle.
