Become a volunteer at Benjamín in Krnov, a center for adults with mental and multiple disabilities who require significant assistance from age 15 and up. Our center focuses on providing support through engaging and fulfilling activities that include educational services, therapeutic workshops, rehabilitation, and leisure activities, all tailored to each individual’s needs and interests. As a volunteer, you will assist service users with personal support tasks such as meals, serving drinks, handwashing, and mobility. You will also help during practical activities like pottery, textile workshops, gardening, and sports like boccia. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. If you’re between 18 and 30, open-hearted, eager to grow your professional skills, and excited to embrace new experiences, this project is made for you! 🌟 Preferred Personal Traits: Creativity, extroverted personality, empathy, responsibility, high motivation, and proactivity. Having some knowledge of mental disabilities is advantageous. It is essential to be comfortable with the fact that people with disabilities are a part of society. Additionally, being proactive and willing to learn the Czech language is important.
