This opportunity is coordinated by Eastpackers from The Netherlands. Therefore, this opportunity is only available to legal residents of The Netherlands. The starting dates are entirely flexible, yet we requite a minimum stay of 6 months. With 7Arte, our partner from Kosovo, you will be helping the staff with organizing local cultural and educational events in Mitrovica, such as the annual Green Festival. Your tasks are among others: Assistance for in-office tasks, setting up projects, logistical support, updating and engaging on social media. You also have the possibility to carry out personal projects. We regularly have vacancies for this project. Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset
We offer food money and 120 Euros pocket money. Apartment is fully equipped and in the city centre, it has 70 m2 and is 5 minutes walking from the office. It has two rooms, a kitchen, and balcony. The apartment has a kitchen, washing machine. We offer pillows, blankets and bedsheets. Please bring your own towels. Cleaning supplies, toilet paper and hygiene products has to be covered by volunteers. If there is a need to travel outside of the city for the needs of the project, expenses will be covered by the hosting organization.
Koulutus hankkeen aikana
The language course is designed one time per week for two hours/almost 3 months (private teacher). Much more you will learn the Albanian language by doing, by working in your host organization, by meeting people around and in our culture centre or by searching for a tandem partner. We have a cultural evening in our space each Friday evening to meet locals. In addition, we can provide you with links where you can take an online Albanian course. Learning another language is a process, but learning Albanian as a unique language within Indo-European languages is cool! :)
