The city of Marseille, and particularly its “environmental and nature department service”, is in charge of missions about environment’s protection and sensitization of public opinion: - Development of the territory's natural wealth and sensitization of the population to urban biodiversity - Making Marseille’s street more “green”: development of shared gardens, revegetation of the streets, etc. - Environmental education with management of pedagogical farms and sensitization of Marseille’s inhabitants about ecological issues. The volunteer will help the team to create a brochure of the different pedagogical offers of the environmental service in digital and paper version: - Understand and create an inventory of the different action and educational places - Meeting the different actors on the field - Helping in a teamwork during educational activities - Proposition for the shape of the brochure
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance to cover the costs of food and a card for public transport in Marseille. The volunteer will be hosted in a shared appartment with 3 others european volunteers (private rooms). The appartment is fully equipped and located in the city centre of Marseille.
Wat leer je?
The volunteers will participate to the 2 seminars organised by the french national agency during the first month after their arrival and after 6 months as mid term seminar. The coordinating organisation Hors Pistes will also organise some trainings in Marseille with regional EVS coordinated
Wie zoeken we?
The city of Marseille is willing to host a volunteer who is interested in education and environment. A volunteer with a basic (or good) level of French language will be appreciated. Autonomy and initiative are welcomed during the mission.
