The Centre Régional Interassociatif et de Soutien Technique aux Échanges Européens en Lorraine (CRISTEEL) is based in Nancy, and aims to raise awareness of the European Union, encourage citizen participation in the construction of Europe, and help other organizations to take advantage of European programs. CRISTEEL is an accredited coordinator and host organization for European volunteers (Corps Européen de Solidarité), and has extensive experience in European mobility. The volunteer will inform the public (18-30 years old) about existing programs for European mobility via information meetings, forums or student/pedagogical fairs. The volunteer will also organize events with the team and run workshops on European union. In the course of the assignment, knowledge will be acquired of the European Union and the schemes it offers.
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
We are looking for two volunteers for September 2025! The volunteer will be welcomed into a team of 3 employees. The volunteer will receive money for food and pocket money. He/she will be housed in a shared apartment. The location of the mission is Nancy (Grand Est), a city of 285,000 inhabitants with a rich cultural offering. 47,000 students per year. Cross-border region (close to Luxembourg and Germany).
Wat leer je?
Over the course of the assignment, they'll acquire knowledge of the European Union and the possibilities offered for young people. Skills will be developed in setting up projects, events and meetings, as well as in writing and animation. The volunteer will take part in a seminar on arrival and a mid-term seminar organized by the French Agency.
Wie zoeken we?
The mission is to promote European mobility and intercultural awareness. It's important to be interested in the subject and motivated to find out more. It's a job where communication and discussion with different audiences play an important role. Basic French required.
