Welcome to Nuorten Kampus! Nuorten Kampus is in a heart of Orivesi. Orivesi is a small town 40km from the third largest city in Finland, Tampere. In Nuorten kampus we do youth work through a holistic approach including different activities and social support. In Nuorten Kampus you can find both youth services and employment services for those under 30 years as well as two outreach youth workers. As a volunteer you will be a part of a team of professionals working in the contexts of: - Youth centre daily work - Youth work in schools - Camps, events and local activities for children young people - Being a part of a local team working for the well being and health of young people in Town of Orivesi This opportunity is for you especially if you're interested in these tasks!
Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset
We help you become a part of the local community here in Orivesi. You would be living in beautiful Oriveden Kampus in your own room, with kitchen and balcony. You will have a bike and a travel-card for trains and buses. You will also have an opportunity to swim, ice-skate or go to a gym free of charge.
Koulutus hankkeen aikana
As a volunteer, you are welcome to participate in ESC trainings such as On-arrival Training and Mid-term Evaluation. The coordinating, support and receiving organizations will also keep in touch regularly during your project. As our volunteer, you will also have a mentor. The mentor will be in touch with you and make sure that everything works for you during your time in Finland. Mentor will help you with everything regarding your free-time, from finding the nearest grocery shop to free-time activities.

We are looking for two volunteers who want to learn about youth work and its forms. You don’t have to have experience of working with youth, but we expect you to have an interest in youth work and young people. Your tasks can be modified based on your interests. We are looking for people that are flexible and willing to challenge themselves. We appreciate a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at yourself!
