Youth centre Domžale is looking for a volunteer to join our team. We are looking for a person, who loves working with people, is full of ideas and willing to put the ideas into practice. Ideally has also at least a bit of knowledge of graphic deasign and video editing. The volunteer will be included in all of the activities of Youth Centre and will be able to implement your own ideas. In general duties will include: - help in the daily centre - organisation and implementation of the activities for youngsters between 10 and 15 years old, daily we have between 50 and 70 visitors; - help with the promotion of the activities - grafic design of the promo materials (posters, leaflets etc.); additionally, it would be beneficial if you have knowledge of video editing, even if it's only with mobile phones; - help with creation and implementation of street work activities; - promotion of the international activities in schools and other organisations; - intercultural activities.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Acommodation is arranged in a hostel Hiša na travniku, 10 minute drive with car from our youth centre. Public transport (bus) is in nearby, with the option of riding it to the youth centre. Volunteers gets their own room in the hostel, kitchen and bathroom are shared. Monthly allowance is provided for food etc. Each volunteer takes care of their own meals.

You will work in youth centre under the mentorship of the already existing staff.
Dalībnieka profils
We are looking for a volunteer who is/has: - Fluent in English. - Preferably has experiences in a youth field or at least has a wish to work in a youth centre. - Is flexible in working hours (35 hours per week, mornings and afternoons, occasionally also weekends). - Is talkative and willing to spend time with local youngsters. - Has at least a bit of knowledge of graphic design (Canva also works) and video editing. The call is open to all nationalities, and we would be happy to have you here as long as you are eligible to join European Solidarity Corps.
