Come to Kopřivnice and embrace the rewarding experience of volunteering at our socio-therapeutic workshop. This vibrant center welcomes adults aged 18 to 65 with mental and combined disabilities, focusing on empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency and independence. As a volunteer, you will support and uplift clients during engaging therapeutic workshops, including pottery, sewing, basketry, and woodcraft, where together you will create beautiful decorations. You'll walk alongside clients in the garden workshop, nurturing both plants and friendships. Your role will also involve assisting in enriching practices like art therapy, music therapy, morning devotions, and relaxation techniques. Plus, you'll have the chance to guide clients in daily activities, from making coffee and lunches to cleaning workshops and honing reading and writing skills. If you’re between 18 and 30, open-hearted, eager to grow your professional skills, and excited to embrace new experiences, this project is made for you! 🌟 Preferred Personal Traits: - Ability to work with individuals with mental disabilities - Musical instrument skills are a plus - Comfortable with communication - Responsible, creative, empathetic, and proactive It is important to be proactive and willing to learn the Czech language. No prior experience or special knowledge is required; we will provide all the necessary training. 😊
