Opis
This project aims to increase the environmental sustainability of the North of Arges county. As a volunteer, you will: - Plan and run small workshops for local youth on environmental topics, especially in rural areas around Curtea de Argeș. - Environmental protection (starting in spring): local clean-up actions, gardening, and small awareness activities about waste, energy and nature. - Animal welfare: regular support at a local dog shelter (cleaning, basic care, small mentanaince tasks). - Culture and participation: plan and participate in local cultural events, creative workshops, and activities that encourage young people to be active in their community. - Create simple communication materials about activities (photos, short videos, basic graphic posts). - Join regular team meetings and contribute with your ideas to the planning of future activities. - Help maintain, improve and modernise Euroactive’s working spaces.
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
The participant budget covers: 1. Travel costs according with the Erasmus+ Distance Calculator and based on the real travel expenses. 2. Visa Costs up to the amount of 120 EUR. 3. Full allowance of 4 EUR per day as pocket money. 4. You'll receive 5 euro/day to cover the food and basic necessities. You will be accommodated in double rooms. Each volunteer will have individual bed and auxiliary furniture as well as access to shared bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and other common facilities. Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
The first month of the project serves as an orientation phase. During this time, you will receive training in several key areas: Learn to use the management tools necessary during the project; Training on how to organize, implement, assess, share, and record youth activities; You will receive access to materials that will help you plan activities. Additionally, you are expected to participate in the On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training sessions organized by the Romanian National Agency. We will also offer you mentoring and language support, along with access to various online courses.
Profil sudionika
You are the ideal candidate for us if: You are 18-30 years old; You have medium-good English skills; You are interested in eco-farming and/or eco-turism. You are interested in working with young people (experience is a plus); You are creative, adaptable, enjoy learning new things, and can manage stress well; You have availability for a long time service (4 to 6 months).
