Opis
The volunteers should offer open activities in the field of ball sports, circus and dancing in two residential areas with a high percentage of migrants. We would like to run daily offers after an initial orientation phase of one to two months. We also have a great openness in which direction the offers are designed and on which target group the focus is. We would be happy if the offers addressed residents of different ages, but also offers only for children and young people would already be an important contribution. The wishes of the participants should be included in the design, so the commitment also includes communication with the residents. The volunteers are supported by experienced and competent persons. Our association provides all sports materials.The volunteers get to know the employment field of social work and are strengthened in their own work organization, including time management.
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
The volunteer will be accommodated in single rooms in a furnished apartment. The apartment is located in one of the two neighbourhoods where the activities are to take place, and in the immediate vicinity of our association's office and sports facilities. The apartment has an equipped kitchen where the volunteers can prepare their own meals. They receive a lump sum for their meals. We pay them monthly tickets for public transport, which are valid for the state of Bremen and neighbouring communities in Lower Saxony.
Profil sudionika
Volunteers should be interested in teaching sports activities and be active in sports themselves. A wide range of experience in various areas of movement, games, dance and sport is welcome. Openness towards people with different social and cultural backgrounds is required. A basic knowledge of German is essential.
