We want to invite 2 volunteers for a long-term project in the primary school in the Pre-School and School Complex no 11 in Krakow. It's a volunteer's friendly place with a fantastic coordinator Dominika. Volunteer's work with children between 7 and 15 years old. They prepare presentations about their countries for students, organise language contests for students, are part of jury during tortilla day, help to prepare decorations for the school performances and celebrating important holidays, support students in learning languages, assist during trips in Poland and abroad as well as help in the after school club. there is also a space to implement volunteer's own ideas of activities for children. Szállás, étkezés és utazás
Volunteer's are placed in the flat near the school and it's literally 5-minutes walk. We also provide monthly cards to move easily around the city. In the beginning of each month volunteers receive pocket money (150 €) and food allowance (70€). We always transfer money to the volunteers bank account opened in Polish bank or Revolut. Foundation IB Polska rents flats for volunteers. There is up to 4 people in one flat, 1 or 2 people in a room. They share bathroom and kitchen. Volunteers get travel costs back to the amount based on the distance calculator.
Képzés a tevékenység során
IB Polska coordinators provide all important information about the project during recruitment and even more practical information shortly before volunteer's arrival to Krakow. Sending organisation from the volunteer's country is responsible for preparation for the project and volunteer's task is to participate in the metting (online or face to face). During the project volunteers participate in obligatory trainings provided by the Polish National Agency. The part of the project is also Polish course on-line. IB Polska also provides different trainings for volunteers.
Résztvevői profil
We are looking for open-minded, friendly young people, who would like to work with children. In this place it's good to know English, because it help to communicate with children and teachers and be fully involved in activities. It's good if volunteer is creative and likes to draw or paint, because it will be helpful. Volunteers age: 18 - 30 years old.
