Are you a young individual who wants to volunteer at a unique location and help restore a monumental place amidst nature, while developing practical skills like animal care, renovation and green maintenance? Look no further! We invite you to embark on a remarkable journey at BioArt Laboratories, situated in the green heart of Eindhoven. Our project takes place in an off-grid bunker-complex that looks like an ensemble of rural farmhouses. We are aiming to repurpose these old monumental buildings into a place where we look for a sustainable way of working with nature. This is a project for people who love to do practical work, are not afraid to get their hands dirty, and are eager to explore new possibilities with a go-getter mentality and proactive attitude. Here, you learn how to live sustainable, surrounded by projects with subjects such as sustainability, system changes for a circular economy and nature.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
The accommodation is at BioArt Village, a beautiful location surrounded by a forest inside the city of Eindhoven. The place is off-grid that can fulfil the basic needs, and people have to approach this with a non-wasteful mindset. Common areas are the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Besides the pocket money, you also receive food money, so some basic knowledge of cooking food is required. The city center is around 15–20 minutes with a bike that can be provided to you. There is public transit nearby.
Mācības pasākuma laikā
Our project has multiple project durations, so there is something for everyone. We offer short-term volunteering for those eligible (59 days) and long term volunteering when possible (max 6 months). During the opportunity to assist us in developing BioArt Village, you have the opportunity to learn more about renovation, animal care and permaculture gardening. Learn more about self-sustainable practices and concepts while working hands-on with our outdoor DIY projects.

At our sustainable BioArt Forest, hard work and limited resources are part of the journey. As such, understanding and living sustainable with limited resources is crucial. We are looking for volunteers who love to do practical work outside, whilst eager to explore new possibilities with a go-getter mentality and proactive attitude. They are assertive individuals ready to tackle challenges and are interested in renovating. If you're passionate about sustainability, eager to learn, and willing to adapt, this opportunity is for you!
