ThinkCamp is a non-profit cooperative which was founded as an initiative in 2007. We have 22 members who support the activities. Our statutes imply that we foster any kind of sustainable development activities. UnaVision is our key initiative. UnaVision aims to co-create a network of learning locations. The objectives are to identify and work with patterns of sustainable development and developing an effective and scalable process for transformative learning while working, learning and living together. As a community we are at the moment 6 motivated adults and one child participating at the living laboratory of UnaVision. Besides learning ourselves we conduct workshops and youth exchanges on a variety of topics such as gardening, wild herbs, project based learning activities, construction with alternative materials and we work on topics such as pattern language of sustainable development, trauma, living in community and so on. The volunteering is managed through pewobe g GmbH.

Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset

Gut Herzershof is a former farm. The village Manchnow is at 1,5 km distance. It has 1.000+inhabitants, a supermarket, bank, drugstore and post office. We are located 90 km east of Berlin. The next bus station is at 500 Meter distance, the train to Berlin at 3.5 km distance. The next bigger cities are Seelow (17 km) and Frankfurt Oder (25 km). The volunteer will live with us in the community. As a community we are at the moment 6 motivated adults and one child participating at the living laboratory of UnaVision.

Koulutus hankkeen aikana

Volunteers will participate in the obilgated On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term-Meeting. Besides that there will be an orientation after arrival. One language course for German language will be financed for the volunteer upon request. Volunteers have the chance to take part in other training opportunities that are related to the current tasks. We are open to support each volunteers interests and try to provide opportunities. As a volunteer you will be integrated into the activtities for volunteers in the region provided by pewobe g GmbH.

Osallistujan profiili

We are looking for a volunteer staying for 10 to 12 months, who like to be actively involved in a small learning community. As a volunteer at Gut Herzershof you will become a member of our small community. Depending on your interest and capabilities you can serve in garden activities, developing workshops, hosting participants at events, supporting administrative work, building up the international UnaVision network. Besides that you participate actively a our transformative learning processes and topic learning circles. You should be willing to live in the rural area.
