Banovanija 2024 - Summer children games this year will have its 4th season. Children in rural areas of Glina town during school summer break have no social programs to engage in. This area is one of the poorest in the country, and its citizens have recently endured the hard struggle, which was devastating earthquake in 2020 that devasted their homes and livelihood. Because children in the rural area of Glina have few opportunites to spend time with their peers during the school summer break, Banovanija 2024 Summer children games were created to provide children opportunity to develop social skills, create friendships, receive mentorship and enjoy their youth despite the struggles of general poverty and consequences of the earthquake.

Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

Volunteers will live in Donja Mlinoga, a small village where ADRA volunteer center is based. Volunteers will live in the rooms with other volunteers, their food and transportation arrangements will be provided.

Wat leer je?

Volunteers will receive the following trainings: 1. Introduction training to the context of the volunteering in post-earthquake and post-war area of Glina town 2. Training of working with children in the area 3. Other trainings as available and sought for by volunteers

Wie zoeken we?

Youth that have some experience in working with children. Our children policy requires no-smoking and no-alcohol during the activities.
