Beschrijving
The Sinnberg Grundschule is a public elementary school of around 330 children with 16 classes going from 1st to 4th grade. A whole series of offered classes and workshops should give to the children the opportunity to develop their personality. The special offers in music, sport, reading, English, theatre, bicycle, experiencing nature and social interaction are going to shape their day at school. The all-day classes stay in school until the afternoon where the children are taken care of and receive diverse free- time offers.
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
The volunteer will get own room in a flat with another ESC volunteer in Bad Kissingen. The volunteer will receive monthly pocket money (6€ per day) and food allowance. In Bad Kissingen you can reach everything on foot but the volunteer will get Deutschland-Ticket for regional trains across Germany.
Wat leer je?
The volunteers participate in two seminars, one at the beginning of their volunteer service and one at the middle of the project , each around a week long where they can reflect on their project, meet other volunteers and travel to other cities in Germany with food and accommodation included. The volunteer will also participate in monthly meetings with other volunteers in Lower Franconia and the project coordinators.
Wie zoeken we?
The volunteer should be interested in working with children and youth in a creative way. Knowledge of German language will be an advantage.
