Opis
Valdeku Youth Centre is hosting 1 volunteer from September 2024-May 2025 (9 months) with a possibility to extend the volunteering until August 2025. Valdeku youth centre is one of the 2 youth centres in Nõmme district of Tallinn. The youth centre offers different workshops – ceramics, silk painting, arts and crafts, cooking and dancing classes. Our focus is involving young people and offer activities that they need and want. The main activity for the volunteer is to communicate/talk/play with the youngsters on a daily basis. Also help with hobby activities and organizing workshops, culture evening and other activities that the volunteer can bring to the hosting organisation. Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
Accommodation and local transport: Volunteer is living in a shared household (sharing the living space with other volunteers). The local transport is organised. International transport: The travel grant depends on a travelled distance and can be 275€ / 360€ or 530€ for round tickets. Visa costs and other exceptional cost are covered up to real costs based on justification (if needed and applicable). Pocket money: According to ESC programme guide, the financial support is 5eur/per day in Estonia. Food Money: volunteer receives 7eur/per day to cover his/her food costs.
Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
Volunteer is attending at on-arrival training and mid-term training organised by Estonian National Agency. In addition volunteer is supported before mobility by support organisation in her/his home country and will also take part in local orientation in host organisation.
Profil sudionika
Volunteer with a level of English language ability, interest and willingness to work in this field. Openness to integrate into new culture. No extra experience required, but having it is an advantage.
