If you are a young person between 18 and 30 years old living in an EU country, interested in sports, outdoor activities and the protection of the natural environment, then this publication may be of interest to you. Active Zone Outdoor, a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Larnaka, offers the opportunity to one young person to do paid volunteer work in Cyprus for the period September 2024 - August 2025 as part of the project " A3S: Active Sports Solidarity Spirit Vol IV”, funded by the European Solidarity Corps programme. We aspire to host a determined youth who is motivated to participate in AZO activities and who strive for the opportunities to learn how to use sport and outdoor activities as a tool for the development of physical and mental health of young people and the enhancement of social inclusion, cohesion and integration for young people with fewer opportunities and disabilities. The selected person will join a team of four volunteers.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
* The volunteer will stay in Larnaca, 10 minutes from the city center, in a 4-bedroom house covering a space of 300 square meters; A single bedroom is provided to the volunteer * Monthly allowance (Food & Pocket money) of 450 euro will be given to the participant in the first 3 working days of each month * The travel expenses will be reimbursed on the basis defined by the European Commission

Continuous training on the following topics will be provided for the volunteers: * Sports and outdoor activities * Project management * Social Media management * Soft skills * Non formal education * Environmental protection * Design, organization and hosting of events
