Volunteering in Folkhälsan afterschool activity club

Apraksts

Volunteer will be doing volunteer work in Folkhälsan Gamlakarlepy afterschool club. Volunteer will work with kids, helping to organise them acterschool activities together with the staff of the organisation. Work time will be between around 11-17 from monday to friday. Volunteer can bring his/hers own skills and competences in planning the activities. Volunteer can also support the kids with their homework. Volunteer will also present his/her own culture to the kids, so that kids can learn from a different culture.

Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports

Accommodation is organised in a shared room with other volunteers or with a host family. Volunteer will be provided food money, and volunteer will be cooking her/his own food. During working days volunteer will have lunch at work. Volunteer will have a bike to move in the city.

Mācības pasākuma laikā

Volunteer's supporting organisation is in charge for organising pre-departure training. During the project volunteer will take part in on-arrival-training and mid-term evaluation organised by the National Agency of Finland.

Dalībnieka profils

We are looking for participants between 18-30 years old. Participants who are interested in working with kids aged around 6-8 years old. Participans who are interested in creating and initiationg activities for the afterschool activity club, both outdoor and indoor activities.
