Apprentis d’Auteuil is a Foundation composed of more than 300 youth centers. Its goals are to welcome, educate, train and insert more than 40,000 young people in distress and accompany their families. We develop the individual talent and personal skills of each young person and help them to find their place in society. Your main mission will be to accompany young people with learning disabilities in their school lives. More especially, you will : -In conjunction with the teams, implement educational projects with an international, sport or cultural / intercultural focus. -Participate in school life and be a force of proposal to animate school life time with the young people -Contribute to school follow-up and support (homework help, tutoring, learning in sub-groups) in conjunction with the school life educators and the teachers.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
You will reside in school housing. You could eat at the school cafeteria from Monday to Friday. The school cafetaria is closed during weekends and vacations. You will have perdiem to buy your food and you could have access to a kitchen to prepare your own meals. You will be given a train pass in order to take the train to Toulouse if you wish (about 30 minutes by train).
Mācības pasākuma laikā
The French national agency for ESC projects will run 2 seminars in which the volunteer will be invited to take part. Also, you will have access to the EU Academy platform which offers online french trainings during your mission.

We are looking for: A volunteer who shares our educational project and values. Have previous experiences in animation and/or education of children; Open minded, international focus, able to share his culture with students as part of the educational program : "Opening to the world" Enjoy working with young people. Confortable with students with special educational needs and learning difficulties. Enjoy collaborative environment, human contact, exchange and discovering the other.
