Beschrijving
Our project focuses on developing tourism in Talsi and its surrounding areas. We will create new hiking routes in nature parks and improve the marketing of Talsi as a unique tourist destination in collaboration with the Tourism Information Center (TIC). We will also educate travelers on the importance of natural resource conservation and eco-friendly living. Additionally, in partnership with the County Museum, we will expand and modernize the nature exhibition to better showcase the region's values. Tasks you will have to do: Educate travelers on TIC and treks about natural resources, the importance of conservation and green business, and eco-friendly living, make hiking plans in our nature parks, reconstruct and widen the exposition of county nature, create and realize own projects -depending on your interests and abilities you will have the opportunity to develop a project. New ideas are always welcome!!!
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
The volunteers will live in flat, all included. The volunteers will have pocket money for their food. Transport: outward and return tickets will be reimbursed up to the budget limit according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator. Insurance: volunteers will be insured (Henner insurance).
Wat leer je?
The Volunteer will receive on-arrival training with other volunteers who are doing their project in Latvia as well as mid-term training.
