“You4Youth'' is a long-term volunteer project on the topics of youth participation. It will be carried out from January 2025 till January 2026 at Consejoven (Consejo de la Juventud) Ciudad Real, in the autonomous community of Castilla La Mancha. Consejoven is the local umbrella organization that is supporting the work of the youth organizations of the town of Ciudad Real. For the project we are currently looking for 1 volunteer to join us. The volunteer will have the task of promoting youth participation and European solidarity corps and at the same time contribute to the work of local associations. Moreover, the volunteer will have the task to improve the dynamization of citizenship through our project "Ciudad Joven 2.0", in which young people discuss and explain their needs to the politicians of the city and how they can solve them together.
Szállás, étkezés és utazás
The new volunteer will live in a big shared flat near the center of Ciudad Real, ten minutes away from Espacio Joven, where the office of Cosejoven is located. All the expenses of the house will be covered by the program. 150 euros as food allowance and 180 for pocket money will be provided to the volunteers. Since Ciudad Real is a small town, the volunteer will not need to pay for local transport. The arrival and departure costs of transportation will also be covered by the program according to the erasmus distance calculator.
Képzés a tevékenység során
The volunteer will have access to the OLS Platform, to improve their Spanish language level. Upon the arrival and the middle of the project, there will be training courses provided by the National Agency, as well as other training to help volunteers improve their knowledge and capabilities.
Résztvevői profil
We are looking for one young person with strong motivation to live 1 year in a town in the middle of Spain, who is interested in discovering the culture of Spain and Castilla-La Mancha. It is necessary to have B1 level Spanish and English. We are looking for a flexible person with an interest in youth associations and politics.
