"Volunteering 4 youth Empowerment" is an ESC project which aims to empower 4 young ESC volunteers with skills and competences, which will help them to strengthen their sense of citizenship, responsibility and initiative; improve their media literacy and critical thinking; digital and organizational skills; their career possibilities on labour market, give a chance to gain international experience, develop their tolerance and sense of solidarity and widen their horizons. The main objective of the ESC project is to provide participants with the opportunity to develop youth competencies, knowledge, and practical skills to support disadvantaged youth or young people with fewer opportunities. Volunteers will create activities aimed at the integration and promotion of European values. Between January to July 2025 we will host 4 volunteers, who will gain experience in youth work, non-formal training activities, as well as methods for inclusion and integration.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Accommodation: Volunteers will be accommodated in a fully furnished flat close to the city center of Nicosia Food and Pocket Money: Volunteers will receive a monthly budget for food and pocket money Travel Support: Flight tickets will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ travel distance calculator This opportunity combines principles of solidarity and volunteering as key instruments for the development of our local community. By promoting the value of volunteering and solidarity, we expect to increase the sense of European citizenship in youth
Mācības pasākuma laikā
Language Course: Volunteers will attend a language course. Volunteers will take part in the on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation organized by the Cyprus National Agency. Additional Training: Linguistic support Pre-departure training Non-formal training on soft skills, conflict management, and team building Participant Profile Relevant experience in Erasmus+, youth work, volunteering, Basic knowledge of English. Be open-minded, communicative, flexible, active and able to work in team Be aged 18-30 years old Have high motivation
Dalībnieka profils
The selected participants must: Have relevant experience in Erasmus+, youth work, volunteering, and basic knowledge of website design. Have basic knowledge of English. Be open-minded, communicative, and able to work in different groups. Be creative, eager to accumulate knowledge, and develop new skills and competencies to share with others. Be willing to participate proactively in all planned activities. Be aged 18-30 years old. Be able to work in a team. Have high motivation and the ability to lead youth activities. Be ready to learn and share skills.
