The project "Ayuda Directa a las Necesidades" (ADN) in Seville, for more than ten years, we help to meet the basic needs of families with few resources through the weekly distribution of food, hygiene products and clothing. The following procedure is followed: food and other products donated by the Food Bank, supermarkets, restaurants and individuals are stored and classified in the CI Sevilla building and subsequently distributed to beneficiaries. The distribution of food is carried out in two ways, depending on the type of person receiving it: at home, by means of periodic visits to families in households with dependent persons, Where the beneficiaries of the programme come every week to collect their food from the shed.
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
As for accommodation, CI will help in finding a room in a shared flat with European students that is accessible and close to CI facilities. The volunteer will use public transport or bicycle. Pocket money will be 6 euros per day, plus money for accommodation and travel.
Wat leer je?
This activity is designed for the volunteer to support the operation of the ADN project for 5 months. The volunteer will help organize procedures from Monday to Thursday in the ship with a schedule of 9:00 to 15:00. On Fridays, generally speaking, the volunteer will help in the management of the project from the CI office in Seville. Through his participation, the volunteer will not only provide support to families in need, but also develop skills such as intercultural communication, project and people management.
