We are looking for volunteers willing to get involved in work at the school and at institutions collaborating with the organisation. As part of their role, volunteers will assist with language and cultural studies classes. Outside the school, their activities will involve supporting the local community. Secondary School No. 5 is one of the largest schools in Częstochowa. The school has good local facilities and a dedicated teaching staff. We plan to focus our activities on three areas: 1. Supporting the school community with extracurricular activities (helping to organise celebrations and projects). 2. Volunteering to support animals and disadvantaged people (fundraising campaigns, organising activities, entertainment, events and workshops for disadvantaged people) 3. Educational, language and intercultural support for pupils (participation in language lessons as a native speaker, lectures on national culture and ecology, organisation of extracurricular activities, etc.).
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
The coordinating organisation will accommodate volunteers in a city dormitory. The organisation will provide meals at the accommodation, or the volunteer will receive additional money for meals. Volunteers will receive a monthly ticket for public transport. The coordinating organisation will also cover the costs associated with the activities planned by the volunteers. The volunteer will also receive pocket money from the coordinating organisation, in accordance with the ESC pay table. The volunteer will also receive a travel allowance according to the ECS settlem.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
Volunteers will take part in a preparatory training course (online) before travelling to their destination, and upon arrival, they will attend an induction training session designed to familiarise them with the organisation, organisational matters, their roles and responsibilities, and how to respond to any potential emergencies. Under the guidance of a mentor, the volunteer will take part in non-formal education, strengthening their social, organisational and civic skills. the organisation's website: https://www.vmickiewicz.pl/
Dalyvio profilis
We are looking for volunteers from European Union countries, ready to cooperate with high school youth, also open to working with the elderly, disabled and younger children. Creative, enterprising, committed people who easily establish contacts, open to various challenges are welcome. However, we do not close ourselves off to people who would like to acquire these soft skills. The most important thing is commitment, conscientiousness and willingness to cooperate in carrying out the assigned tasks.
