About the activities of volunteers Volunteers will work full-time (between 30 and 38 hours per week) and will have two days off per week. Administrative support at IBO Tanzania Office; Conducting comprehensive studies and data collection on the specific needs of disabled children within the region; Implementation of inclusive education activities and games aimed at involving disabled minors in both educational institutions and local communities; Development of educational support tools and materials tailored for local educators; Creation of materials for meetings and awareness-raising initiatives related to disability; Management of IBO Tanzania’s official social media channels; Photography and video production;
Szállás, étkezés és utazás
About food and accommodation of volunteers Volunteers will be mainly based in Iringa, in the IBO guesthouse which is very close to the office. The volunteers will be moving to Kipera village some days a week to carry out activities in the local school. They will move with the car of the association and they will be housed in a flat. Both in Iringa and Kipera they will be autonomous in organizing their own meals.
Résztvevői profil
We are looking for a motivated volunteer who is interested in the area of work of the hosting organisation and who is willing to adapt to the new culture, new food and environment, and to follow the safety guidelines that they will receive.
