"Future Makers for Inclusion and Sustainability" (foreign volunteers)

The current ESC project for individual volunteering will involve 4 international volunteers for a period of one month each, who will assist and support our activities focused on efforts in two main areas of activity: Activity 1: (1) Promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among young people. (2) Supporting social inclusion and diversity through youth initiatives. (3) Developing skills for active citizenship in alignment with the EU Youth Goals. Activity 2: (1) Enhancing digital literacy and engaging young people for active participation in democratic processes. (2) Encouraging the use of virtual platforms for inclusive youth participation in decision-making processes. (3) Empowering young people through digital tools to achieve positive changes and address the EU Youth Goals. Both activities are open to volunteers with fewer opportunities.
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
The volunteers will be accommodated in a hotel in the village of Varbovo, Vidin Region, 150km from Sofia. Their rooms and the kitchen at their disposal are fully equpped. Wi-Fi is also available. Each volunteer will receive 210 EUR month pocket money and they will also get 120 EUR month for food supplies (in case they are not provided by BYF itself during activities). All communal expensesand hosting rent are covered by BYF. The ESC volunteers will be provided with transport means to support implementation of their activities and everyday needs.
Wat leer je?
All volunteers will undergo introductory training related to the topics of the volunteering activity. Additionally, they will participate in instructional training sessions. Throughout their volunteering period, they will receive mentoring and supervision, with regular reflection and feedback sessions organized to enhance their awareness of the learning process and the competencies they have gained.
Wie zoeken we?
- AGE 18-30 (30 + 364 DAYS AT THE MOMENT OF THE PROJECT'S SUBMISSION). - AT LEAST INTERMEDIATE ENGLISH KNOWLEDGE AND STRONG MOTIVATION TO VOLUNTEERING. - GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS, TEAM WORK IN MULTINATIONAL AND MULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT. - FLEXIBILITY AND HIGH RESPONSIBILITY TO THE YOUTH WORK. - AT LEAST INTERMEDIATE DIGITAL SKILLS.
