Opis

Kaunas l’Arche community is a small faith-based community of friendship and mutuality between people with intellectual disability and those who assist them. Community life, spirituality and professionalism are the desired basis of our organization. The community operates as a Day center, Social workshop, Living home and Supported decision making department. The mission of l’Arche communities is to reveal the gifts of people with or without disabilities through close and communal relationships. We believe, that every person has unique value and can enrich our world by his/her unique personality and abilities.

Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz

Accommodation in a private room in a shared apartment - Monthly ticket for public transportation - Monthly food and pocket money (250 eur/month)

Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti

Volunteering group meetings once a month - Meeting with a mentor once a month - On-arrival and mid-term trainings - Online language learning - Participating in public solidarity events - Organization of info/promo solidarity events

It is important, that volunteer would have: A wish to meet other people, a wish to communicate, to discover amazing world of variety of humans and to accept differences between people; Good will and motivation to collaborate; Patience and responsibility or a wish to improve it; Openess to communitarian life;
