❇️ This 5+ months volunteering project in Craiova, Romania, offers a unique opportunity for you to embark on a journey of self-discovery. BEYOUND Horizons, Building Youth Opportunities, Non-formal Education, and Driving Sustainable Development, is not just a volunteering project – it's a movement that propels young individuals toward a future brimming with environmental altruism, rich opportunities, collaboration, and sustainable development. Our initiative encourages participants to venture beyond their comfort zones and explore the vast realm of possibilities for personal growth, environmental stewardship, and community impact. By facilitating a journey that combines intercultural exploration, environmental education, experiential opportunities, connections, and holistic development, we strive to foster a community of individuals who are actively shaping a brighter, better tomorrow.
Alloggio, vitto e trasporto
⏳ You'll receive monthly food allowance and pocket money (according to ESC funding rules) to cater your own meals or depending on your group preference we can also arrange catered food. ❇️ For activities beyond walking distance we cover public transport expenses or provide transportation means. ❇️ Accommodation, a kitchen and bathrooms, are shared between you and your fellow volunteers. Based on availability and gender you will be maximum two international volunteers sharing the same room. The apartment is close to reliable public transport options and walking distance to the city center. ❇️

Our team will guide you in designing activities, ensuring a meaningful and engaging volunteering experience. ❇️ Help steward for the environment while engaging in nature conservation and education, river cleaning ❇️ Create events that promote social, physical, mental well-being for youth and the community ❇️ Collaborate with international and local volunteers to support other youth. ❇️ Encounter diverse backgrounds, make international friends ⛰️ Embrace the outdoors, enjoy rural or mountain trips when the weather permits it. Profilo del partecipante
The selected volunteer will assist with daily activities, support the program, and organize events and workshops for youth based on their interests. Skills in music, gardening, sports, manual activities, handcrafts, dance, art, social media. creative writing and multimedia are advantageous. Desired qualities include self-initiative, motivation, patience, flexibility, open-mindedness, environmentalism, creativity, good communication, interest in working with youth, and English proficiency. ❇️ 👨👩👧👦60% Youth workshops and events (age 5-30 in schools and outdoors) 🌻 10% Gardening and planting activities (can vary depending on the weather) 🎨 10% NGO Social Media, graphic design or creative writing activities 🧘 10% Self-study, journaling, forms, reflection, NGO administrative work 🏞️ 10% River cleanup, eco-creative STEAM activities, eco-exploration trips (can vary depending on the weather) *The numbers can vary depending on the weather during your volunteering stage 💡 Volunteers have to coordinate and propose their own activities. 🤝 In the preparation of activities you will be mentored and coordinated. Our mentors and coordinators cannot do the activities for you but they will help you as much as possible. 🌍 Collaborate with international and local volunteers from various organizations. ⛰️ Love outdoors? If you don't know what to do with your life and where you are heading this is for you. But be aware that nobody will give you the answers you don't want to hear and discover by yourself. It's definitely a road you won't be walking alone but nobody will take you by the hand if it's not a hand to give. *We accept candidates from all the program countries but because of the long Schengen visa processing time in Romanian Embassies we are currently accepting ONLY applicant who don't require a visa.
