ESC project “RISE” is calling a team of 12 volunteers to engage themselves in local Croatian community! RISE - Reinforcing Inclusion and Social Engagement is a project where volunteers from different countries can leave a significant impact on the local community through designing and organizing volunteer actions together with local citizens. You will engage in activities promoting youth active citizenship, co-organizing events, promoting ESC program, and collaborating with NGOs, schools, and locals - volunteering with schoolchildren and other age groups, through national manifestation "Croatia volunteers", which is a national campaign dedicated to volunteering that brings together citizens, organizations from the civil, public, educational and business sectors every year. Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
We provide accommodation, equipped and furnished apartment in which you will be accommodated. Volunteers will be in multi-bed rooms and will share kitchen and bathroom. The volunteer will be given 6 euros of daily pocket money (108 euros in total). Also, a volunteer will get 150 euros in total of food money. The plan is that volunteers make their own food in the accommodation. Trip to Osijek in purpose of ESC service will be covered by hosting organisation. The travel costs will be reimbursed to you after the activity, but only if you take part in the whole project.
Mācības pasākuma laikā
DKolektiv will provide the necessary education and training for the first few days of the project. Volunteers will work with experts in the field of volunteering and community development, with youth workers with expensive experience working with young people. Since the volunteers will have engagements that include work with school children, they will be provided with quality preparation and mentorship for certain activities. Just in case, bring also some OLDER clothes!
Dalībnieka profils
Volunteers need to be 18-30 years old, with high capacity of empathy and solidarity, willingness to learn. We are also expecting from volunteer to be a team player, reliable and flexible - volunteer must have communication and writing skills in English, capability in adapting to different conditions and living with other people. Volunteers should be motivated and patient to work with children. You need to be signed into European Youth Portal before start of the activity.
