Opis

Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, migrants’ rights and for climate justice. Join us at our office in Bolivia! You will learn about project management, having the chance to work hand in hand with a great team of professionals. You will support in project formulation, preparation of reports, manage relevant information to justify actions and liaise with other organisations and donors. You will also assist in administrative tasks related to your position. If you are a migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support or any other don’t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!

Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz

You will have the opportunity to live with other people but in an individual bedroom. The accommodation costs, utility bills and phone card will be covered by the organisation. The volunteer will be based and lodged in La Paz where the office is located but if needed might have the possibility to be deployed for brief missions. You will receive a monthly allowance of 621,00 € for your personal expenses, including food (this will be specified during the interview.) For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. You will be covered with health insurance (Henner).

Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti

You will provide support to the office’s technical team for the design, implementation, follow-up/ monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects. You will work in the elaboration and revision of documents/ articles on women’s rights; you will accompany local partners in the development of activities, work in the organisation of public events, manage coordination with external consultants, and also, you will collaborate in the formulation of new incoming projects.

Profil sudionika

We are looking for someone motivated and enthusiastic, preferably with work experience related to the position. The following skills will be positively valued: good writing skills, sensitivity and facility to apply a gender perspective, ability to work in teams and to adapt to the country’s context, as well as to different work environments. It will also be highly valued to have a good command of Microsoft office and fluency in both English and Spanish. To cover this position, the person will need to be available for a duration of 8 months.
