Starting date: 01.07.2025 Duration: 2 months Place: Timisoara, Romania Volunteering in non-formal education in Timisoara ESC7 Teams, 2024-1-RO01-ESC51-VTJ-000228862 is an European volunteering project developed by Asociația Practicienilor și Specialiștilor în Economie Socială from Timișoara in 2025. We are looking for 10 volunteers for a short term project of 2 months. The project will start on the first of july 2025. The goal is to facilitate volunteering activities for 10 volunteers (from EU countries and Romania) in which they have the posibility to participate in a fun learning experience, education workshops (such as non-formal education workshops which promote tolerance, understanding and interculturality, Recycling workshops, Foreign languages workshops and Interculturality workshops), and voluntary and civic activities to support interaction between Roma and non-Roma.
Alloggio, vitto e trasporto
We offer food, accommodation, pocket money and we cover the travel expenses. Participants will receive a lump sum of 150 € /month for food and 120 € as pocket money for the volunteering period. They will have to share a room with another volunteer. The volunteers will be given the travel cost to and from Timișoara, including the fees regarding, visas, accommodation, based on the distance band, in accordance with Erasmus+ calculator. The organization will provide monthly tickets/passes for public transportation and will inform the participants of the time tables of these means.
Formazione durante l'attività
The training will be facilitated by mentors, coordinators and an expert regarding nonformal education, stress and time management.
Profilo del partecipante
We are looking for international volunteers (preferably with fewer opportunities), that would be able to participate in our project for a period of at least 3 months during the mentioned dates. The following traits are a plus: 1.Passion for Working with Children: the project revolves mainly around daily interactions with kids 2. Language Skills: having a basic understanding of English is required. 3. Interpersonal Skills, Adaptability and Flexibility 4. Willingness to Learn and Grow, Motivation for Volunteering 5. Commitment and Responsibility 6. Positive, cooperative and tolerant attitude 7. Nonconflictual person
