The Esslingen YMCA is a Christian organisation and has its roots in children's and youth work. They organize activities (cultural, musical, creative, sportive) for young adults, families and senior citizens. In the office there is a team of 15 full-time employees, 18 part-time workers as well as volunteers. They run two youth clubs in the suburbs of Esslingen where you can contribute and volunteer. Support the staff in activities for the kids and teenagers visiting the youth clubs after school. YMCA Esslingen are experts in working with young people – become an expert, too and have a lot of fun! Your tasks as a volunteer: 1. Collaboration in various children's and youth activities (supervising play stations, designing programs, 2, Participation in various events and projects, 3. Supporting staff in the preparation and implementation of the offers, 4. Running errands, 5.Assistance in the house (preparing rooms, minor manual work, tidying up), 6.Assistance in administration
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
Volunteers will be provided with a room in a shared flat. You will receive a contribution to a year pass for local transportation in Germany. Furthermore, you will be given an allowance as well as additional money for food in accordance with the program guidelines.
Wat leer je?
You will be participating in two seminars by the national agency (one week about 6 weeks after arrival, another halfway through the program). Additionally, your hosting organisation will provide you with any training needed for your daily tasks during the service.

If you have basic knowledge of German, are curious, creative and between 18 and 30 years old, this opportunity is for you! :) You must have permanent residency in a EU-country.
