Digital Communication and Branding Facilitator - Women's Empowerment

Apraksts

ENGIM, in partnership with the Federación de Mujeres de Sucumbíos (FdM), supports local women-led initiatives to promote economic empowerment, social justice, and gender equality. The project aims to enhance the visibility and sustainability of women’s enterprises and advocacy actions. Main tasks: - Design and implement social media content plans (Facebook, Instagram, etc.). - Support the development and maintenance of the organization's website and e-commerce platform. - Create campaigns to promote women entrepreneurs' products and the Federation’s mission. - Conduct communication and branding workshops (talleres) with women's groups. - Produce visual and written content (photos, videos, stories, newsletters) for institutional and external use. - Collaborate in events and public activities aimed at promoting the Federation’s work.

Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports

Volunteers will be accommodated in a shared apartment or guesthouse in a community near the project area. Basic utilities such as electricity, water, and internet access will be available, though service may be intermittent due to contingencies. A monthly allowance of €800 will be provided, covering daily expenses, food and local transport. A laptop will be provided, and reimbursement for mobile phone expenses is included. Flexible working hours and a combination of on-site and remote work may be available, depending on the autonomy of the volunteer and the schedule of activities.

Mācības pasākuma laikā

- Pre-departure training on humanitarian principles, safety, and program-specific knowledge. - Training on advocacy strategies, gender-based violence, economic and social inclusion, and communication techniques. - On-site and pre-departure training on community engagement, intercultural approach, communication in the non-profit sector. - Learning in the workplace in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team. - Orientation on security protocols, cultural sensitivity, and project objectives. - Participation in capacity-building sessions with FdM and other local organizations.

Dalībnieka profils

- Education & Training: Degree in Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, International Relations or similar. - Skills & Competencies: Strong creativity and digital communication skills. Capacity to adapt content for different audiences and platforms. Ability to work in multicultural contexts and engage respectfully with local realities. - Language & Technical Skills: Proficiency in Spanish (minimum B2 level required). Knowledge of digital communication tools and basic graphic design software is desirable. - Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
