Opis
The main goal of our association is to support disadvantaged people and develop their competence. Our main activity related to this goal is the operation of Ötletfa Tanoda, where we want to support the improvement of the living conditions and the future of young people and families living in segregation. By welcoming foreign volunteers and delegating domestic young people abroad, we help them gain an outlook on Europe and acquire civic attitudes that will give them the opportunity for a better life. The implementation of the activity will also mean serious professional and spiritual development for the foreign volunteers involved as well. We would like to be able to mutually show each other something new in the field of methodologies for uplifting disadvantaged people. Our core target area is Kincsestelep in Hódmezővásárhely, but in this case under target area we mean Hódmezővásárhely and Szeged.
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
The accomodation of the volunteers, food and public transport will be paid by the HO. The accomodation is near Hódmezővásárhely city centre, well-frequented location. Costs must be justified with invoices or acceptable accounting receipts.
Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
There will be no English language support.
Profil sudionika
The ideal Participant comes from an environment with fewer opportunities, aged between 18-30, is available from 01.06.2025-31.05.2026., is happy to help with after school activities for youth (6-16 years) at Ötletfa Afterschool program in Hódmezővásárhely, Hungary. (Tuesday-Friday 13-18). If you have an understanding on social, economical, educational challenges, Roma culture, interest in social work, especially in child and family support system, if you are playful, joyful, creative and flexible, please apply!
