The volunteer contributes to the Gender and Entrepreneurship Area, supporting the design and development of income-generating activities that strengthen women’s autonomy and empowerment. They assist the team in implementing strategies for solidarity-based and sustainable entrepreneurship, in close cooperation with rural communities and local associations to improve economic income. They are involved in productive learning processes, soft skills workshops and activities with women entrepreneurs in agronomy and food processing. Most activities take place in the field, in urban and rural areas, some of which are harder to reach (average travel time is 1.5 hours) and are combined with office work, reporting and team meetings. Activities are planned monthly. The volunteering takes place Monday to Friday (30–40 hours per week, excluding travel time).
