Earthquakes: For a Future Without Fears

Kuvaus

Muş is one of Türkiye’s most earthquake-prone and socio-economically vulnerable regions. The aim of this project is to raise earthquake awareness, educate young people and mothers, and support institutions working with vulnerable groups (elderly, children, people with disabilities). The project also provides young volunteers from 4 countries a chance to gain valuable skills, cultural knowledge, and meaningful life experience while contributing to a safer future.

Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset

Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in shared rooms with a maximum of 3 people per room. Each room includes beds, wardrobe, bathroom, and basic amenities. Food: The volunteers will be having meals provided for. Volunteers will also be provided with a bus card for free access to local public transport. Project activities will also be supported with local transport when needed. Flight tickets: Purchased directly by the hosting organization (Genç Çaba Derneği).

Koulutus hankkeen aikana

The volunteers will receive all the training needed for doing the activities. Before the arrival, the volunteers will participate in a formative meeting, pre-departure meeting and will receive the infokit. Once the project starts, the volunteers will receive the necessary training and language support.

We are looking for 2 groups, one participating 15.08.2025 - 12.10.2025 and the second one 30.08.2025- 27.10.2025 (duration 59 days).
