Passionate about creating a kinder world? Join Salvando Peludos, one of Madrid’s leading animal protection foundation! We rescue, rehabilitate, and take care for farm and domestic animals, providing veterinary attention, emotional support, and promoting holistic welfare. We organize adoption events, raise awareness, and advocate for animals. We’re seeking 2 volunteers to assist with rescue, daily care, cleaning, socialization, and outreach activities. Your efforts will support our mission to make the world less cruel and more compassionate. Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

Volunteers receive a weekly food allowance of 50 euros for vegan meals and personal expenses, plus 6 euros per day pocket money. Accommodation includes a private room or caravan, powered by solar energy, with limited water from a well. Transport is facilitated through a community transport card, bike, and a shelter van for emergencies. The organization will reimburse up to 360 euros for round-trip airfare. Volunteers will use sustainable resources, and internet access is shared and limited.

Formazione durante l'attività

During the initial week, volunteers will participate in a welcome and onboarding program to learn their main tasks, safety procedures, and the foundation's values. This training ensures they are well-prepared to contribute effectively. Volunteers will develop skills such as empathy, decision-making, teamwork, and leadership, while gaining intercultural experience that enhances tolerance and understanding of diversity. They will also learn about kind, responsible animal care and enjoy the rewarding experience of contributing to a meaningful cause, creating memories that last a lifetime.

Profilo del partecipante

We are seeking motivated individuals under 30 who are empathetic, committed, brave, and possess an indomitable spirit aligned with our core values: respect for all inhabitants of the planet, boundless devotion, understanding that injustices are interconnected, and that education is our most powerful tool against animal abuse. Candidates should be prepared for physical work such as animal care, cleaning, and outdoor activities. Having at least a B2 level of Spanish is preferred. Candidates will work in an environment in which not all people speaks English, so the candidates that can be fluent in Spanish will be really valuable. We value proactive, caring, and interculturally open people eager to make a tangible difference in animal welfare and society.
