We are looking for volunteers ready to join our ESC team and to work in the special school in Krakow. This project isn't easy, because this school provides activiites to children with severe disabilies, which means they are unable to move or communicate in the usual way. Volunteers help students to focus during classes, to move around, to eat. they assist during the school trips and walks outside the school building.
Alloggio, vitto e trasporto
Volunteers stay in the flats rent by IB Polska. They share double rooms. Every flat has common bathroom and kitchen. Flats are located in different parts of Krakow. Volunteers get the card for the public transport inside the city. In the beginning of every month volunteers receive pocket money and food allowance.
Formazione durante l'attività
Volunteers will participate in the meetings provided by the sending organisation before the start of the project. After arrival to Poland, volunteer will participate in the introduction prepared by coordinators from IB Polska and the hosting organisation. During the long-term project volunteer will participate in 2 obligatory meetings organised by the Polish National Agency. Every month IB Polska organises meetings for all ESC volunteers.
Profilo del partecipante
We are looking for participants between 18 and 30 years old. Volunteer should already have some experience working with people with disabilities, as this will make it easier for them to adapt to the project. Volunteer will be a part of the international team of ESC volunteers, so we need friendly and open-minded people ready to discover new cultures and share their own culture with others.
